FMF 2019

The Festival of Migrant Film took place from 17th and 20th of June 2019 in Ljubljana’s Kinodvor, Slovenska kinoteka (Slovenian Cinematheque), Pritličje and at Slovene Philanthropy. Visitors were also able to attend screenings at 11 different locations around Slovenia: at the Houses Fruits of Society of Slovene Philanthropy and other partner organisations in Maribor, Novo mesto, Velenje, Murska Sobota, Ljutomer, Žalec, Cerknica, Logatec, Metlika, Črnomelj and Vipava.

We included 18 films from 16 countries in the Festival, divided into three sections: Portraits, Closing the Borders and LGBTIQA+ Refugee Stories.
