about the film
Bit by bit, we piece together seven stories of Angela, Janahan, Merwa, Michael, Mohamed, Nirmala and Selamawit. They have fled from war, terrorism, ethnic hatred, persecution and domestic violence. While it seems like they have achieved their goal – they have fled violent and oppressing situations, and escaped death – it is doubtful whether this is really the end of their problems and a beginning of a new, better life.
