synopsis

A man returns from France to Portugal in search of his mother’s grave. He wants to make her homage. He wants to redeem himself from the past. He searches for the only person who might know where his mother is buried. He founds her, but she knows nothing. When he is ready to give up he has a revelation. The promise must be fulfilled.

about the author

Pedro Peralta was born in Lisbon in 1986. In 2012 he completed his Master’s Degree in Film Studies at Universidade Lusófona de Humanidade e Tecnologias. During his Master degree he directed his first short-film Nobody. His second short-film Mupepy Munatim is his film for Master’s Degree and premiered at IndieLisboa 12′ in the official competition. He also maintains a parallel activity as music editor, being a co-funder of the label Dromos Records.
