about the film
Since about a year, Moria, EU’s largest refugee camp, has become home to 38 year old Nasim from Afghanistan. Together with her husband Shamsullah, their two sons and their extended family, Nasim tries to get through the rough camp life while she starts questioning her unhappy marriage. As her family pushes her to start a new life independent from Shamsullah, Nasim fails because of her fear and insecurity. To find a new path out of Moria, Nasim and Shamsullah need to pass the asylum interview together. But when the fire burns down the camp, all hope seems to be gone.
