You are fourteen years old. You leave your house alone and without money. You cross a border by boat or on the underside of a truck. You arrive in a country where they don’t speak your language, you can’t understand them. They hate you. Why? Shit happens.

Menores is the first documentary short film by Juan Trueba as a director. He has previously co-directed fiction short films “Abuelo” (2017), “Couchsurfing” (2016) and “One Step Ahead” (2015), gaining over sixty national and international selections and winnig awards such as the Dobra Award at the Torrelavega International Film Festival, Best Original Music at Hendaia Film Festival or Best Social Short Film at Sanfernancine, among others.
