Alongside the banks of a river In Italy’s Gorizia spreads a spontaneous encampment of migrants, the Jungle, a place suspended between cultures. Through the eyes of Elisa Menon, a charismatic social theater director, we will enter into this community and discover it through a very intimate and evocative theater performance that draws attention to the present migration in an unusual and empathic way. This unique film is focusing on creating bonds between people and not thinking only about the differences.

about the author
Cristian Natoli was born in Gorizia (20/10/1981). Since 2004 he has worked on cinema and television productions such as I colori della gioventù (Goodtime production), Alza la testa (Bianca film), Zoran, il mio nipote scemo (Transmedia), Un bacio (Indigo film) and Il ragazzo invisibile – Seconda Generazione (Indigo film). Meanwhile, he started producing musical videos and shorts. In 2010, as director and author he produced the award-winning documentaries Attores, Allamhatar, on the topic of borders, Per Mano Ignota (selected at David di Donatello Awards) and Figli di Maria (broadcasted on Rai Storia). In 2016, he acted as Unit director of Rai3’s docureality Chiedi a Papà, produced by Indigo film. In 2017, Cristian founded the Tesla production company with Chiara Toffolo and for this company he directed and wrote two commercial shorts Sott’Acqua and Sulla Mia Terra for the Coop Italia company. His latest documentary La Fiaba Perduta, winner at International Tour Film Festival, is broadcasted on national TV.
